Comparing between 3G & 4G Wireless Internet Options

When you compare 3G and 4G networks, you’ll find the service that works best for you.
Both 3G and 4G wireless options are available today for your cell phone plans. They also include Internet options, through the cell phone providers themselves. There are several ways to look at 3G and 4G plans to decide what is best for you and your computer.

1. Contact a provider that has 3G service. Many providers do, such as Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, and 3G is the standard of current mobile Internet service. Therefore, when you have 3G service for your phone, you’ll use that phone to connect to the Internet, and you’ll connect to a typical mobile-based Internet service. Usually, you’ll get a separate number to dial into from your computer, which will access the Internet. You can get online wherever you can get cell phone service.
2. Contact a provider with 4G service, such as Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. More companies are coming out with 4G service, so keep checking back. 4G is a completely different service, on a completely different network. With many cell phone providers, a 4G connection gives you the ability to send a wireless signal through your phone. Your phone will become a mobile hotspot, which will send the signal to your computer.
3. Discuss the various prices for both 3G and 4G wireless Internet with your cell phone provider. Keep in mind that the 4G networks are new as of 2010, so they’ll probably be more expensive. However, they might give you more of an Internet connection to work with.
